Want to learn GarageBand?

If so, you might like the series of nine GarageBand tutorials we’ve just posted. The first tutorial is here.

If you’re a Mac owner and you don’t have a copy of GarageBand, it’s definitely worth a look. Despite its low price, it’s a surprisingly powerful DAW that can deliver great results in minutes. Even if you’ve got some more serious software - Pro Tools, Cubase or Apple’s very own Logic, say - GarageBand can be useful for sketching out ideas quickly.

If, on the other hand, you’re new to home recording and computer music, it’s probably the best starter application available, because it’s intuitive and easy to use but allows you to create professional-sounding results very quickly.
