Here’s a short vid on the dominant seventh chord and its role in harmony. If you’ve started to learn about chords and harmony, you’ll have already come across the seventh chord. You’ll definitely have met it if you’ve ever had guitar lessons, because some sevenths are among the easiest guitar chords to play.
The video is designed to tie in with my book, How To Really Play The Piano, but you don’t need to be reading the book to benefit from what I’m saying here.
